DiskDigger is a windows only application geared toward recovering deleted documents or multimedia files from USB drives, memory cards and harddrives. The types of files that it recovers include photos, music, videos and many other formats.

DiskDigger is useful if you’ve deleted music and videos from a memory card and need to restore them. It’s also a good program to use if you’ve reformatted a harddrive and remember that old photo of you’re long lost 2nd cousin twice removed that you had buried deep down in folder that you intended to forget until one day they knock on your door. The program is very user friendly and allows you to view the files you’ve found while continue to search for more files. It’s decently fast depending on the size of the media you’re searching. A 2gb SD card could be search in approximately 10 minutes where as a 120gb harddrive could take as much as 2 hours or more depending how much information is on the drive.
